An accident at a friend’s house in August 2020 left Nash Lindberg with an incomplete spinal cord injury. The active teenager didn’t let it slow him down, and he found unique ways to continue the sports and activities he loves—from a wheelchair tennis tournament to adaptive water skiing to hitting the golf greens. From the beginning, Nash’s goal was to walk completely unassisted. His family supported him every step of the way, and he achieved his goal, proudly walking into the building on his first day of high school this August. Nash continues to participate in outpatient physical therapy several days a week and does extra work in his downtime. He even co-owns a lawn mowing business with his twin sister, MacKenzie. When he’s not at school or mowing lawns, he also travels the country, sharing his story in hopes of inspiring others to thrive when faced with adversity.
